HOW DO I KNOW THERAPY WILL WORK OR THAT WE ARE A GOOD FIT?

This is one of the most frequently asked questions. Many people decide to embark in therapy for many reasons. Some are experiencing heightened mental health symptoms and need tools or support. Others are seeking a listening ear, a place for weekly accountability, personal growth or freedom from harmful behavior. Whatever it is you are searching for, we’d love to connect to see if we are a good fit.

We believe that therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all all. It’s important to connect well with your therapist. A therapist might have an impressive resume, multiple degrees and licensed to treat mental health, but if you don’t connect with their approach or feel comfortable opening up to them - your progress could be impacted. For many people, their therapist becomes a trusted confidant and it’s important that whoever you choose is someone you feel safe, seen, and able to open up with. Often times a therapist is someone who you share some of your most painful experiences and some of your most celebrated accomplishments with. A strong therapeutic relationship is essential.

We provide a complimentary 20 minute consultation to get a sense if we are a good fit to work together.

Know that whether you connect with a therapist at Thrive Therapy or somewhere else, you have the choice to choose the therapist that fits your needs and style. If we aren’t able to support you in your therapeutic process, we will happily give referrals and connect you to other resources in the community to help facilitate that growth.

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?

Therapy services are available for $225 for each 45 minute individual sessions and couple or family sessions are $275 for 45 minute sessions.

Our associates have the ability to offer a sliding scale for sessions and are a wonderful option if the full fee doesn’t align with your finances. All associates are under the supervision of Claire Blakey, LMFT #119518 and Claire is an active part of the consultation and treatment process.

Group therapy is $60 a week.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

At this time we do not accept insurance. We do, however, accept HSA and FSA cards if you’d like to use your health savings account for payment. Additionally, depending on your diagnosis and treatment, it is possible for our clinicians to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Please clarify during the consultation or first session if you are wanting to explore that option. And as always, feel free to call your insurance directly to see if they cover superbills or can provide referrals in your network.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY

We ask that you notify us 48 hours in advance of a cancellation. If not, you will be charged the full fee - whether or not you attend the session.
